NEW Carmex Healing Lotion Review And Giveaway!

First of all I have to start off saying that I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. It is the busiest time of year, so things have been crazy! More on that later..I wanted my newest post to hit with a BANG, so here we go!

I was recently accepted to be a member of the Carmex Blog Squad and I'm very excited and thankful for the opportunity. My first task for the Blog Squad is to review the brand, spanking new Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream. Again, I was excited as soon as I opened the box because Carmex and I have a very long relationship, starting when I was a teenager. That little yellow jar was always a must-have! In middle and high school my friends and I would always pass a jar around, because someone always had one, and someone always seemed to be out of it (tragedy!).

As an adult, I was happy to seee that Carmex is expanding it's product line to include lotions and creams. I've always counted on the soothing, healing action of the lip balms, and now I can have that same feeling in my hand and body lotion. I was not disppointed one little bit when I tried the Healing Lotion on my hands. As soon as I opened the cap, the familiar Carmex smell wafted up and reminded me of those middle school days. I tried a little at first, just to get a feel for it, but wanted more as soon as I started rubbing it in. It absorbed quickly and wasn't at all greasy, but that little dab I started with wasn't enough for my dry hands. I might have overdone it the second time around, but even with a lot of the lotion, it still absorbed quickly! I was in love. Again.

Should I gush about this lotion any more, or do you have the general idea? The Healing Cream is also wonderful - perfect for those rough elbows and dry feet that will no doubt make appearances this winter. Keep the rough-patch-ugliness at bay with this cream - you won't be sorry!

Carmex Healing Lotion and Healing Cream are available now at Walgreens stores, Walgreens.com and drugstore.com. The retail price for each will be around $5.99.

And now, The Giveaway! Because I'm a member of the Carmex Blog Squad, you can win the same package I received! If you love Carmex like I do, you're going to love this.

  2. I absolutely love the healing effect of Carmex products. My family depends on them to get us through all the seasons from the blast of winter's brrr cold winds to Florida's sizzling hot sunbeams . . . I don't know what we would do without the soothing effects of Carmex! I suspect tha we are your best walking advertisement as my large family from 2 yrs to 80 all carry their favorite choice of the product to whip out at the first sign of dry chapped lips or irritation.
Kudos to Carmex, because my family doesn't buy anything twice unless it truly does the job intended. Carmex works hard and goes far beyond the call of duty to sooth and smooth chapped lips and skin in the Murray household.

  3. I LOVE Carmex! It's an all-in-one healer! Chapped Lips, Cracked Fingertips, Pimples...you name it! I really want to try the Healing Cream! I think it would work wonders on my hands if it's as good as regular ol' Carmex in a jar!
